Job Description

Ami Lifesciences is organizing a walk-in interview to fill multiple specialized positions within its Technical Services Department (TSD) – R&D and Production units.

Candidates with relevant active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) experience are encouraged to explore these exciting pharmaceutical careers in India.

Technical Services Department (TSD) – R&D

• Department: TSD – R&D Synthesis, Oncology, Peptides, CDMO & Isotopes
• Role: Process Development, Scale-Up & Tech Transfer Specialist
• Experience: 3 to 10 years (B.E./B.Tech) or 2 to 8 years (M.Sc./Ph.D.)
• Education/Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, or Ph.D. Chemistry

Production Department

• Department: API Production
• Role: Production Officer / Executive
• Experience: 3 to 8 years
• Education/Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry

Skills

• Strong understanding of process development, scale-up, and technology transfer.
• Expertise in plant process troubleshooting and technical support.
• Knowledge of yield improvement, process validation, and cost reduction.
• Working knowledge of NMR, Mass, and IR characterization.
• Basic understanding of DMF documentation and ICH guidelines.
• Experience in API synthesis, oncology, peptides, CDMO, or isotopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute lab-scale process optimization and product technology transfer.
• Troubleshoot API manufacturing process issues to ensure smooth plant production.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, QA, QC, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory cGMP and safety standards.
• Conduct batch start-up monitoring, balance calibrations, and process validations.
• Review critical technical documents including SOPs, BMRs, and validation protocols.
