Job Responsibilities:

As a Scientific Writer at Indegene, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of high-quality medical education and publication content. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Content Creation: Independently develop complex and specialized medical education and publication content, including publications, congress deliverables, post-hoc articles, meta-analyses, case reports, and slide decks, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various therapeutic areas to create accurate and impactful content.
  • Mentorship and Review: Coach and review content created by junior scientific writers, providing guidance and feedback to foster their professional growth.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with peers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to develop and implement best practices in medical communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including medical scientific communities and healthcare professionals, to develop tailored education and communication content.
  • Publication Content Development: Engage with healthcare professionals to develop impactful publication content that meets the needs and expectations of the medical community.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Assist junior writers in expanding their knowledge base and sharing your expertise to build a strong and collaborative team.
  • Project Management: Ensure the timely delivery of documents and project updates, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Scientific Writer with the following qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in creating diverse medical education content, including publications, congress materials, and other related deliverables.
  • Therapeutic Area Knowledge: A strong understanding of various therapeutic areas and the ability to manage and create specialized content independently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Publication Process Knowledge: Familiarity with publication processes, including experience with MSL decks and JPAC.
  • Education: A relevant scientific degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD, or Master’s degree in a related field).

  • Scientific Writing Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in scientific writing and medical publications, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts.
