Amazon Clinical Analyst – Mental Health (MHW)

Amazon is hiring an experienced Clinical Analyst – Mental Health Wellness (MHW) for its Disability Leave Services (DLS) Clinical Team at ADCI Hyderabad. This role is ideal for licensed mental health professionals looking to apply their clinical expertise in disability management, return-to-work planning, and behavioral health case management within a global corporate environment.

As a Clinical Analyst – MHW, you will act as a key clinical resource supporting Short-Term Disability (STD) and Accommodation cases involving primary behavioral health diagnoses. The position combines clinical decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement, making it a highly impactful role for mental health clinicians.

📌 Key Responsibilities – Clinical Analyst MHW Amazon

🔹 Clinical Expertise & Case Management

• Provide expert mental health case evaluations across Amazon DLS
• Act as clinical subject matter expert for disability and accommodation case managers
• Assess functional impairment and work capacity using ICD-10 and DSM-5
• Co-manage complex behavioral health disability claims
• Review and analyze clinical documentation
• Conduct interviews with providers and employees
• Develop and negotiate return-to-work plans

🔹 Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner closely with leave and accommodation case managers
• Communicate with treating physicians to:
  • Clarify diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Understand work restrictions and limitations
  • Assess severity of impairment
• Coordinate with Amazon internal and external partners

🔹 Professional Development & Process Improvement

• Deliver mini clinical lectures on behavioral health case management
• Support development of clinical tools, templates, and protocols
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives under clinical leadership

🎓 Qualifications Required

✅ Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health
  • MSW, MA/MS in Counseling
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
• 3+ years of clinical experience
• Current, active, and unrestricted professional license
• Strong understanding of DSM-5, ICD-10, and functional capacity assessment

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CLMS, CCM, or CDMS
• 2+ years of experience in disability management (STD/LTD)
• Knowledge of U.S. regulations:
  • FMLA, ADAAA, ERISA, EEOC, OFCCP
• Utilization review experience
• Experience working in large corporate or global organizations
